CityPlace: A Place Connected.

Just as architects are in the process of designing the final attributes of CityPlace, Johnson County’s newest
CityPlace Kansas City
and most unique mixed-use development, it now has a new brand identity that articulates all that the development has to offer.

The name itself, CityPlace, is a play on two separate words that are connected. It signifies a vibrant community that provides residents the opportunity to live, work and play in one energetic neighborhood.

A “city feel” within a suburban setting.

CityPlace, located at 69 Highway and College Boulevard in Overland Park, Kansas, will feature commercial office buildings, apartment residences and senior living, retail shops, restaurants, lush green space and landscaped trails for those who enjoy an active lifestyle.

The clean, contemporary multi-colored logo is designed to portray all of these aspects through blocks of
various size and colors that represent the commercial, retail and residential properties that combine to create the CityPlace community.

One of the most attractive attributes of CityPlace is its connectivity – and the brand was developed with that in mind. The CityPlace tagline is “a place connected.” Office workers and residents will greatly appreciate their easy access to the city’s highway system and paved, landscaped pathways will connect each of the properties. Additionally, there are a number of trails linking to Johnson County’s nearly 17 mile Indian Creek Bike and Hike Trail System. The Residences at CityPlace are also smart-wired for phone, Internet and cable, and feature USB charging ports and a built-in Bluetooth® audio system with speakers. More connectivity means less time commuting and more time for the active lifestyle our residents enjoy.

The CityPlace groundbreaking will take place in the fall of 2014, but you’ll start seeing the CityPlace brand and logo appearing in more and more places as excitement and interest builds for this one-of-a-kind development in Overland Park.
