Jeffrey Hawley and Joseph Hill of Block Hawley represented Bissinger's in acquiring their new home at 1600 North Broadway in downtown St. Louis. The 226,000 sf building at Broadway and Mullanphy was built in 1910 and will see a major renovation. The significant expansion in space will allow for additional production and a larger workforce.
Renovation plans include a rooftop deck offering great views of downtown, the Arch and the new Stan Musial Bridge. Tours for the public will be made available for the first time and the building will include a retail storefront.
This property will be their new manufacturing facility and will combine both their St. Louis operations and their Iowa City operation. The new plant will incorporate the company's headquarters, 125,000 square feet of manufacturing and distribution and a third story marketing and display area.
