Innovation In A Recession Leads To Success

At Block Real Estate Services, LLC (BRES) our priority is to continuously improve the quality and range of services provided to our clients and investors.  By focusing on innovation for the future we have emerged from the recession stronger than ever.  Following are a few examples of new services we have introduced:

Offering New Services to Clients While Others Cut Back
BRES added a new division to provide IT needed services to our clients and tenants called Block Technology Solutions (BTS). This new division:


  • Provides consultation, planning, and installation services for voice, data, and security systems including servers, switches, routers, workstations, access systems, and security cameras/monitoring. 
  • Assists customers by leveraging our significant relationships with local telephone, cable and wireless providers resulting in improved response time for installations and connectivity repairs. 
Exploring New Ways To Market Our Services
Seeking new ways to connect with your client base?  The BRES blog is a tool to educate our client base about our services. BRES is one of the first commercial real estate companies to incorporate Social Media, QR Codes and Landing Pages into our marketing strategy.

Improving Efficiency Within Existing Services
We have developed and improved a host of applications  geared toward getting results to our clients faster.  We've improved our existing Corrigo Work Order System to expedite tenant maintenance requests.  BRES can respond to routine and emergency situations with minimal time in the notification process.  This Internet based system is used for receiving, processing, and recording maintenance and service requests. The Corrigo System will instantly send a request to your assigned maintenance personnel that will track all tenant maintenance requests via the Internet, thereby significantly reducing maintenance response time. Corrigo has aided management by allowing us to see trends & respond proactively to issues rather than reactively. This information is also a great tool used during the budget process to determine where money should be spent.  Additionally, Corrigo is used to track preventive maintenance of building components to ensure we operate as efficiently as possible.

Expanding On Existing Services With An Eye For Customer Service
In our Block Funds/Investors division, we assign our clients their own personal log-in to access their personal investment information 24/7, allowing our clients to quickly and efficiently see the status of their investments.
